About the event
Join us for a field day at the US Dairy Forage Research Center from 3-5 pm and the SSWIG meeting will follow from 5-7:30pm. Learn about the research center's plant breeding, soil carbon, dairy systems studies and more! This is a walking tour.

There will be a sign posted at the entrance to the field day site from highway 12, and signage inside the gate for parking.

Driving directions to the U.S. Dairy Forage Research Center (west entrance)

Directions from US highway 12 (driving North, coming from Sauk City and Madison):
· Drive north on US highway 12 through Sauk City
· Continue north through intersection at County Road PF (stoplight)
· Continue past Sauk airport
· Take a right (east) at intersection of County Road C and US highway 12 (you’ll also see a sign for Natural Bridge State Park on your right prior to this intersection)
· Follow paved driveway through the gate into the property
· Pin for the entrance gate in Google Maps: 43.350988, -89.757735
· If you see a CITGO on your left and the Museum of Badger Army Ammunition on your right, you’ll know you’ve gone too far.
Directions from US highway 12 (driving South, coming from Wisconsin Dells and areas north):
· Drive south on US highway 12 through Baraboo
· Continue south through the town of North Freedom
· You’ll see a CITGO on your right and the Museum of Badger Army Ammunition on your left.
· Take a left (west) at intersection of County Road C and US highway 12 (you’ll also see a sign for Natural Bridge State Park on your right prior to this intersection)
· Follow paved driveway through the double gates into the property and follow the path indicated on the map
· Pin for the entrance gate in Google Maps: 43.350988, -89.757735
· If you see a KwikTrip on your left and arrive to the town of Sauk City, you’ve gone WAY too far.
